About the Shop
I starting making resin art in 2019 after watching videos of the craft for months before. I did not intend to sell when I started, but quickly turned to business due to wanting to fund this new hobby. I also did not want to keep every piece I made. Here LoopcoopShop was born.
I made my first silicone mold in 2020. My mold making skills continued to grow from there. I balanced posting both resin art and mold making on the same account for a while.
In 2021, I launched my first ambassador application hoping to expand the reach of my business. It worked for a little bit, but I had not thoroughly planned out the goals and structure of the program. I had started my retail job at the beginning of 2022. The combination of those obstacles had led me to cancelling the original plan. Now that I had an in person job, I slowly faded out of doing resin art and my page became mostly molds.
I started a new page LoopcoopCreates in 2022, with out any real plans of what I was going to post there. It was named after my Twitch channel. At some point I made the decision that LoopcoopShop will be my supply page and LoopcoopCreates will be for everything else.
I relaunched my ambassador program in 2023, after having a more concise plan. I am always learning how to grow and improve. :)
Recently I have been experimenting with more art mediums such as polymer clay, plaster, and paint making.
Silicone molds
-
My molds are green because my brand is green! It’s not my favorite color, but it’s one of my top few.
-
They are not food safe.
-
The intended use is for resin art, but they can also be used with plaster, clay, cement, candle wax, etc.
Most molds are only 1/4” thick, so I would not recommend with a very fragile medium, or one that will not pick up small details easily.
-
Store your molds in a single flat layer. Stacking them can cause bends and marks.
Don’t store in excessive heat
Remove loose debris using tape
Molds can be washed in warm soapy water if needed. Let air dry and let dry completely before using resin inside!
Use baby wipes to clean any sticky, uncured resin.
-
I cannot accept custom orders, but I may be able to help you find someone who can.
About the Stream
My first stream ever on Twitch was April 1, 2021. I got affiliate shortly after on May 16. I started my streaming journey in arts and crafting, but began playing games such as Ooblets and The Sims 4.
Twitch led me to discovering Animal Crossing, and then it surely took over my channel and my free time. I had not played many games before being on Twitch, so I had not heard of a lot of very popular games. I started the game series with New Leaf; I have the most hours sunk into New Horizons (even got a second Nintendo Switch for it); and now I am playing Wild World everyday.
My streaming content has been mostly Animal Crossing, but I have started to play more Stardew Valley as well.
Pixel art
I began making pixel art in 2021 because I wanted to make my own sub badges. I enjoy making relatively simple and small designs such as emotes. I have free to use emotes available on the BTTV extension (Twitch only).
My favorite and most complicated projects have been my animated dancing citrus since I plan them out like a whole music video.
